Character and use of the electric motorcycle
The WN7 takes on the slim, futuristically styled design of the EV FUN Concept study. Instead of a conventional frame, Honda relies on a frameless chassis.
With an unladen weight of 217 kg, a seat height of 800 mm and a top speed of 129 km/h, the WN7 is designed for the city, commuting and country roads. A forward and reverse manoeuvring aid up to 5 km/h makes parking easier.

Drive, range and charging
A water-cooled electric motor drives the rear wheel via a belt. The more powerful version delivers 18 kW continuous output and 50 kW peak output, the less powerful one 11 kW continuous and 11.2 kW peak output; torque is 100 Nm.
Honda states the certified range as 140 km according to WMTC. At a CCS2 fast-charging station, the charge level climbs from 20 to 80 per cent within 30 minutes. On a 6 kW AC wallbox, the battery goes from 0 to 100 per cent in under three hours.
Riding modes, equipment and safety
Four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain and Econ – and a walking-pace mode are available, and the strength of deceleration can also be adjusted. The 5-inch colour TFT display connects to the smartphone via Honda RoadSync over Bluetooth, and there is a USB-C socket under the seat.
At the front, a 296 mm twin disc does the braking, at the rear a 256 mm disc; the two-channel ABS works with an IMU. At the front there is a 43 mm upside-down fork, at the rear an adjustable shock absorber. LED twin headlights with daytime running lights, an emergency stop signal and self-cancelling indicators complete the equipment.
Versions and driving licence
The Honda WN7 is listed in model year 2026 in two power levels. You may ride the 11 kW version with a subcategory A1 driving licence; the 18 kW version requires restricted category A, called A2 in the EU.
This makes the WN7 suitable for commuters who want to ride electric and can charge regularly – at home on the wallbox or on the move at a fast-charging station.
WN7 variants
| Variant | Power | Model year |
|---|---|---|
| WN7 | 18 kW | 2026 |
| WN7 | 11 kW | 2026 |

Frequently asked questions about the Honda WN7
How far does the Honda WN7 go on one charge?
Honda states the certified range according to WMTC as 140 km. How far you get in everyday riding depends on riding mode, riding style and route.
How long does it take to charge the WN7?
Using a CCS2 fast charger, going from 20 to 80 per cent takes 30 minutes. On a wallbox with 6 kW AC, a charge from 0 to 100 per cent is completed in less than three hours.
Which driving licence do I need for the WN7?
For the 11 kW version, a subcategory A1 driving licence is sufficient. You ride the version with 18 kW continuous output with restricted category A.
