Engine: air-cooled and economical

The air-cooled 124 cc single-cylinder works on the eSP principle (enhanced Smart Power) with an overhead camshaft, two valves and PGM-FI fuel injection. It produces 8 kW. The generator also serves as the starter motor.

An automatic start-stop system switches the engine off when stationary and can be deactivated with a button on the left of the handlebar. Honda quotes a consumption of 67 km per litre, and the tank holds 11 litres.

Cockpit and Honda RoadSync

The 4.2-inch TFT display shows, among other things, the selected gear and fuel consumption. Via Bluetooth, you pair your smartphone with the Honda RoadSync app for iOS and Android.

The app offers navigation with turn-by-turn directions, calls, text messages, music and real-time weather data. Everything is operated via the switches on the left handlebar switchgear. The storage compartment houses a USB-C socket.

The frame is a torsionally rigid tubular steel frame, and the headlights are LED.

Driving licence: who is the Honda CB125F for?

A subcategory A1 driving licence, with its limits of 125 cc and 11 kW, is sufficient for the CB125F. In addition, you may ride the model with category A or with restricted category A, which the EU calls A2.
