- 286 cc single-cylinder, 20.1 kW, 26.6 Nm
- Tank with 12.8 litres
- Front fairing with cockpit screen
- Twin LED headlights
- Slipper clutch
- Euro 5, category A restricted
Character: rally styling with range
The front fairing with cockpit screen and the upper, lower and side fairing panels keep the wind off. The tank holds 12.8 litres, considerably more than the 7.8 litres of the CRF300L. Twin LED headlights complete the package.
In terms of ergonomics, Honda relies on a natural handlebar position, a low seat height and footpegs with rubber inserts. This makes the Rally a pleasant companion on tarmac too.

Engine and technology of the CRF300 Rally
The liquid-cooled four-valve single with 286 cc produces 20.1 kW at 8500 rpm and 26.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. It meets the Euro 5 standard, and top speed is 135 km/h. The slipper clutch is light to operate.
The Rally shares its technical basis with the CRF300L. Fairing and larger tank make it somewhat heavier, but it remains a light motorcycle for gravel tracks and forest trails.
Variant and driving licence
In stock is the Honda CRF300 Rally from the 2025 model year with 20.1 kW. This keeps the Rally within the limits of category A restricted, which in the EU is called A2.
Who is the CRF300 Rally for?
The Rally suits new riders with category A restricted who are looking for a light motorcycle for gravel tracks and touring. For experienced riders too, the low weight is an advantage on narrow trails, as is the large tank on long stages. And if you often ride alone, a light motorcycle is also easier to pick up again after a tip-over.

Frequently asked questions about the Honda CRF300 Rally
What is the difference between the CRF300 Rally and the CRF300L?
Both use the same 286 cc single-cylinder with 20.1 kW. The Rally also has a front fairing with cockpit screen, twin LED headlights and a tank holding 12.8 instead of 7.8 litres. The CRF300L is slimmer and lighter.
Can I ride the Honda CRF300 Rally with category A restricted?
Yes. With 20.1 kW, the CRF300 Rally is below the 35 kW limit and suits category A restricted.
Is the CRF300 Rally suitable for touring?
Yes, that is what it is designed for: the larger tank, the fairing and the cockpit screen make longer stages more comfortable. Among its motorcycle accessories, Honda lists a 38-litre top box set and three-level heated grips, among other items.
What top speed does the CRF300 Rally reach?
The CRF300 Rally reaches 135 km/h. This makes motorway sections possible too, but its strengths lie on country roads, mountain passes and gravel tracks.
